In 1978, under the visionary guidance and leadership of Mr. Ali Moosa Ali Saif Al Naqbi, the AMS Contracting Company was founded. Originally known as "Oman Gulf Contracting Company", the company grew at an unprecedented rate by securing larger and more prestigious contracts.

Throughout the whole process of design and build, our staff are always conscious of the cultural and environmental area and, as a result, the final completed project is compatible (sympathetic?) to the surroundings with a tendency to incorporate the Islamic culture along with the latest in vogue styles.

We also keep in mind that a building has to be functional. This means that people will want to come and live in the apartments, or lease a shop or office space within one of our constructed premises. In today's world there are too many buildings that look bleak and uninspiring. We, on the other hand, require that our buildings stand out and become noticed so that people will remember them.

It is for the above reasons that the Contracting Company is now well renowned throughout the UAE and has been awarded many high value projects from the private sector as well as from the Local and Federal governments, thereby making a significant contribution to the growth and economy of the UAE.

Alongside the Contracting Company the AMS Group also founded a transport Company. This company is primarily for in house use and comprises of a fleet of modern light and heavy vehicles, operated by trained and professional drivers who provide the necessary resources to the Contracting Company.
