- The AMS Group was
formed in 1978 under the auspices of Mr. Ali Moosa
Ali Saif Al Naqbi as a contracting company.
- In the latter part
of the 1990's a new Aluminium and Glass Factory opened
to compliment the contracting division and to satisfy
the market demands.
- Due to an increased
demand for high quality furniture, a factory dedicated
to this activity was opened in 2000.

- A Reverse Osmosis
Water Desalination Factory opened in the same year
to provide clean potable water thus easing the pressure
for this natural but dwindling resource.
- The following year
the AMS Group diversified their activities into the
crusher and quarrying market with the acquisition
of a large site at Fujairah. Heavy investment has
taken this site from being one of mediocre status
to now being the leading quarry in the UAE.
- With the influx of
migrant workers into the country, more accommodation
was to be required. This prompted the AMS Group to
open a Real Estate business in 2001 and construct
luxury apartment towers to satisfy demand.
- With the success of
the Real Estate business the AMS Group built the Sun
City Residence. This is a popular hotel apartment
tower with fully furnished apartments available on
both short and long term lease.
- Finally, in 2001,
the AMS Group opened the International Trading office
in Dubai to maximize their exposure to local, national
and international markets.
- With the arrival of
the new millennium the AMS Group will strive to remain
leaders in their field and will always look to expand
into markets that are not well represented, thus satisfying
the needs of the clients.
